Had to comment on this one.

Was living in a rented flat that backed on to a golf course on the northern beaches of Sydney. Working night shift, I came home and went to bed in the morning. Woke up mid morning to wander into the bathroom. Still half asleep. This almighty buzzing was emanating from said bathroom. Opened the door. Stunned disbelief on my face. Closed the door. Opened it again. Like a scene from a horror movie. Thousands and thousands of bees everywhere. All over the walls, in the bath, the toilet, buzzing in the light fitting from the ceiling.
A queen bee had decided to relocate taking the entire swarm with her. There were external air vents on the wall, one of which opened up in my bathroom. The queen had flown into the vents, was inside the wall cavity and a large portion of the swarm had made its way inside my bathroom.
The real estate agent sent a man out to deal with the problem. Unfortunately he had no choice but to gas them all and vacuum up the dead bodies.
However for weeks afterwards I could hear buzzing in the walls and would get some inside the light fitting or find a couple in my bath.... Had to double check whenever I sat on the toilet....
