Love the idea!
But why use old base size?

Thanks, well that was the base size that came with the model when I got it... I actually forgot about the change of base, but on the other hand I don't have a bigger base lying around ;)

Might be an update in the future

I put some work in on the mini of the month:

After the pictures I decided to take it back on the red scales a little. Also saw a Cold One on my desk and wondered:

It makes the Cold One look even more derpy :p

I think the cold ones might serve as decent proxys for raptadons if you throw some of the extra skinks on the back but the raptadons are really nice models and Idk if theres gonna be any sort of spam lists for them where you'd want to convert up the piles of knights I'm sure a lot of us have

Meet the blacksmith: Thourk Grimstone, Dwarven Blacksmith from a family line of blacksmiths originating in the Kingdom of Kazad-Dum. Now living among the men of Rohan lending his crafts to any who is in need of armor or weapons (against fair payment, of course)

The base model is a warrior of Kazad-Dum with a two-handed axe. I replaced the axe blade with a round plastic stud of the sprue. And turned his head towards the now Hammer, so he is paying attention to his work.

Nice to see an actual fantasy model appear in your Middle Earth collection at last ;)

You've built one Dwarf, I sincerely hope you're going to use the other 23 in the box for a Khazad Dum/Moria army!

It is summer holiday for our kids and today, when I got home from work, our oldest(9) came to me all excited: "I have build a fence, a wall, a cavern and a small building from a piece of packaging cardboard. Just like you do for your hobby!"

He has been very creative and super enthusiastic about it

Here are his creations:

What a fantastic job he's done!
You must've had a big smile on your face I can imagine :D

I like what you did with the shield Ive got some warriors coming up idk what I'm doing yet but I know I didn't want the shields to be a big hunk of gold and it's nice to see sort of what was in my head actually on a model and that it looks good
