AoS New box set

I have got the new box set and I am wondering if any of you have got it. If so what do you like abbot it and dislike.
 
I'm onto the last Raptadon for assembly and personally I really like the box. Nothing too difficult the models are great, I'm super looking forward to painting everything in the box.

Likes:
  • The Saurus are a dream come true in terms of how they look and also their new profile.
  • This is my Slaan, so that's a plus.
  • New Skink cavalry are interesting and getting a load of them is nice.
  • Personally I love all the tokens you get as well as the warscroll cards. Though i haven't looked at them yet :p
I can't say there is anything I dislike about it in terms of quality, I would of preferred the new Aggrodon lancers over the one of the Raptadons or maybe the new Kroxigors but that is not really anything bad about the box itself.
 
Got the new box as well and love everything about it.

Warriors are by far the best!
Slann looks beautiful, i hope, he will not be included in the new starter box who should be coming in summer.
Raptodons beautiful as well, i think they will see a lot of playtime , mainly of the movement they bring

all in all worse every penny
 
I haven't got the box, but was wondering about some things.

I like the Raptodon models, the only thing I dislike are the weapons. The clubs-spear-thingies look rather odd and the arrow throwing devices look very fragile. Are they?

If I am to buy the models I will likely replace the arrow throwing arms for blowpipes and the club-spear things with javelins.
Are there any major differences between the Raptodon options other than the weapons and shield?

Probably will magnetize the arms and the shields so I could run them as either.

fragile a little bit, i would say like skinks on a bastilodon.

Raptodons are the same, only the skink weapons change
 
Really enjoying the box set! I've barely started putting things together but it's not been too hard so far. All the new models look amazing! (Except the new Skink Starseer, but he's not part of the box set)

How are people assembling their Slann? I wanted to go with the staff, the magic floating orb, both Skink attendants and the baby Coatl.

I went for the skull and the middle head dressing? Not bald but not that fancy looking crown. Of course the skink attendants and I really like the ferns, so I went with the extra fern.

The "arrow throwing device" is called an atlatl, and is an actually Aztec weapon. It's basically a little handheld catapult that is used to launch a short throwing spear with a flick of the arm and wrist. Considering that Seraphon weapons and architecture are all based off of Aztechnology™, I'm surprised it took Games Workshop this long to give atlatls to the Seraphon.
 
Came back to the forum just now after a ...long while. I must admit to being tempted to jump back to my lovely lizards. Would be nice to get back into AoS after so long.
 
This Saturday will be the pre-Order for the new models o_O

Can not be this long for the new starter box. Every faction has to have one right?
 
at least one battleline, so should be 10 warriors. More then 10 would be to much i think.
one hero, skink starseer or veteran on aggrodon. Astrolith bearer sounds to specific.
and finally some cav, pack of aggrodons or raptodons.
just my opinion, but sounds not out of line
 
Just saw a guy on YouTube talking about the pricing of the upcoming new models. After doing some math I couldn't resist any longer and scanned through my usual online shops for a Seraphon Army Box... ...and managed to get the last available copy with almost 28% discount!
 
I am wondering myself if I want to purchase second one, but I managed to get second Slann already, I have plenty of warriors and I doubt that I will find use for 20 chickens...
