AoS NEW *rumor*

Me: No I'm patient I can wait
Me two minutes later: Actually yes please lol
I just want the announcement for the army box to go up. Totally fine not to get any leaks if I am just going to get our battletome in hand months early.

That would also be good, a part of me feels like I probably won't have the money ready when it comes out. Forgot it was my niece's birthday...

i would love the leak so i can see what they knocked out of the park and what they botched

I don't disagree but I think the limit of customization in the older sets was simply the rotation from shoulder to arm for the most part, maybe more arm poses would be nice though.

Depends on the kit - in the case of Lizardmen you're right, customisability was limited to flat revolute arm joints, but kits like the now-departed late 6th Edition Dwarf Warriors and the current Skaven Clanrats have ball-socket arm joints, and older kits like the long-gone High Elf Spearmen and Orc Boyz had both flat revolute shoulder-arm joints and also torso-leg joints that allowed you to rotate the bodies (in the case of the Orc Boyz this was ball-socket for maximum poseability).

This is still more though than the decreasing customisability of the current GW kits, where a lot of the time there are arms and (most pointless of all) separate legs that only fit on one model.

In fairness, the modern kits do at least come with multiple distinct bodies
In the older kits you had maybe 2 distinct bodies.

So while customisability is down, variance has gone up. At least for the base models.

I'll also add that not all of the older limb options were created equal; not sure who thought 'flaccid hammer' was a cool option for the saurus warriors. I used to collect tomb kings as well, and they had similarly sub-optimal alt options.

Darn, that ia too soon, I am not ready... Finance wise I mean. :D

I'll definitely get this set. Not sure I'll be replacing all my Saurus Warriors, but having at least a few of the new ones will be nice. And I'm really liking the new Slann. Still anticipating/dreading the new battletome, lol! I have a feeling it's either going to be awesome or really disappointing...

It's my time to shine, to this day I own zero Saurus units. I wonder how long it will take until the Warriors are available standalone.
