Fingers crossed that the releases are spectacular. Are you looking to buy for your WHFB or AoS armies?



So what would you guys like to see the most? I'd say Saurus Warriors and Cavalry are most in need of an update.

I think AoS.
WHFB must be played with proper WHFB minis. ;)

...that's not only a nostalgia factor. Unless you pick stand alone models (as a monster), the new models tend to be slightly bigger and with dinamic poses.
So, even if you manage to put them on a square base (which is not granted, being smaller than the round one), to fit them in a rank and file formation, including the possible heroes, could be simply not possible.

A new Slann that has options to pose it as though it's casting or blocking a spell would be nice, and I particularly want to see plastic Kroxigors, Salamanders and Razordons (the latter two of which being boxed individually so you don't have to buy three if, like me, you don't have room for three in your army list).

meh, I'd rather have them come in a box of three, but at a vaguely reasonable price.
Individually boxed models tend to become rather expensive when you need more than 1 of em.

Yes, fingers crossed that the updated/new models look great.

• I think I'd also like to see updated Warriors and Knights most. The Saurus are acceptable, but I can't help it, those cold ones just don't look good to me. Based on the the Saurus teaser silhouette, I'd feel pretty good if that was an updated Warrior.
• Next are Salamanders and maybe Razordons. Sallies are used in so many lists, currently, that it would good to have updated models. GW selling them in a 2-pack at $50 would be nice (ha ha ha).
• Then Kroxigor. Personally, other than the Krox being a little smaller than they could be, I don't hate them. But, based on more recent sculpts (Woogity's, for example) Krox could be more ferocious looking.
• Any of the Saurus finecast heroes would be cool to see updated; especially the Astrolith Bearer and Scar-vet on cold one (sorry cold one).

The "glass half-empty" in me says that's too much for GW to update. But, we pretty much know we are getting a new Slann, either new Warriors or updated/new Saurus hero, and a new mounted model (which I question if we need). Plus, there's the Astrolith-looking Rumor Engine which could get solved too.
 
With our battletome on the way, we could well also receive one or two new units...?

That would be cool

I have a number of the Chaos warriors from the start collecting set (where I got my Chaos Lord on "damonic mount" from) and it takes a bit of work, but I got them to rank up on squares. Of course, my units also contain the previous chaos warriors as well as a mix of 4-5th edition minis as well for variety.

I REALLY can't stress enought how MUCH I want an army set for Seraphon, but hey, let's wait.

Also, I'm certain we will see Farsight.

Not fair, I'm gonna be poor and 2023 barely started.
