I could say the same about Thanos, given I've never seen (or want to see) Infinity War, Endgame or any of the other Avengers titles. Isn't he some cheap rip-off of the minor Greek god Thanatos?

You're not comparing the relative fame/popularity of Thanos and that character you posted are you?

No, I'm simply stating that I personally have very little knowledge of (or interest in knowing) who Thanos is, just as you have very little knowledge of or interest in knowing who the Horned King is.

Then my original gif holds true. Most people don't know of this Horned King of yours, but they do know of Thanos. Admittedly, Thanos benefits greatly from recency bias.

Still, I'd wager that you know more of Thanos than I (or most other people) know of the Horned King.

I think we could also both agree that the Horned King is cooler than Pokemon too - being voiced by Alien-era John Hurt by itself makes him better
