Ah fair enough, you did not have a Slann, that is a problem against them. Sounds rough!

Hey there! Yes, they were my Skirmisher with Javelin. They went after the irondrakes, and shot some guys to death. Sadly not enough to make a real impact. The cannon itself mauled my Stegadon and the the thunderers and irondrakes were killing my saurus warriors

Good choice!
Next time, send them after the lightly armoured troops and the war machines, they’ll do much better there.
Did you know that the skirmishers can March AND shoot?
So! Some time went on and I was able to get my Lizardmen force to roughly 4000 points. I am still really happy with those guys, and I am especially liking the "old" models. They just seem to be more Lustria, and less Seraphon
Core and anvil of my army is a block of 30 Temple Guard in my center, accompanied by a group of 30 saurus Warriors. They are such great fighters!
And they are incredibly stubborn to flee of the battlefield
My only problem were some nasty high elves that played 5 units of 10 bowmen, two bolt thrower, two tiranoc chariots and two lion chariots. Also there was a flames pyre phoenix and a single eagle. They just shot me to death before I could get near them. The only real melee unit (20 white lions) just walked backwards all the time. No chance to get near them to bite. I conceded defeat by the end of turn 4, that was no fun game!
On the good side - I managed to get the magic cards for the lizardmen! That's nice!

This dwarfen style is always annoying but u can push through it.
Get a light or life Slann in ur TG and they should be unable to break it appart. I prefer light cuz u can be mor agressiv with it.
Than 2 Cowboys. U have to be careful that his bolt thrower didnt get them but if u realy struggle put them in a unit of Skink Skirmishers and then carge out of the unit.
