Just for laughs...

My dad I liked movies but we didn't care about new releases. Blockbuster had to buy extra DVDs of new releases so they could meet demand but after a month or two, they had more DVDs than they needed so they sold DVDs watched 3-5 times at a steep discount. We like to own not buy.

Once a week on the day they updated their new releases, my dad and I would pick or 2 or 3 gently used DVDs. My hard copy collection of movies stopped growing after the death of Blockbuster...

It makes me sad.

Have you tried charity shops, if they're a thing in America? That's where my dad and I get good-quality gently-used DVDs for £1 each. When they're in decent condition it certainly beats paying £10+ for them new.

The sad thing is, I know far to many Christians who actually believe that theology.

yeah... that is kind of why 8 year old me said "nope, not going to church anymore." Pastor told me that Dinosaurs were 'put in the ground by god to fool silly people into thinking that they once lived." This to a kid that though dinosaurs were the most awesome thing ever and had coloring books, a hundred little plastic dinosaur figures, and used to make dioramas with them... at age 8....
