In the event of a tie, we'll do a 7 day run off poll.
Back in my day we'd make the two winner-meat battle to the death or until one of their pens ran out. Good times...

Apologies for no reviews, i've had little spare time to properly analyse them. Regardless, it was certainly a fantastic crop this competition! :D

Congratulations to @Y'ttar Scaletail , an amazing and deserving winner of this competition.
This was the story that secured my first vote. For my second vote I was torn between "The New One" by @Bowser and "The Messenger" by @thedarkfourth . With the latter taking my vote.

Thanks @Scalenex for hosting and I am awaiting the theme for the next competition ;) (make it a good one @Y'ttar Scaletail :p)

Grrr, Imrahil

Wowzers. Thirteen hundred thanks and kindest regards to those that voted for my piece as well as the kindly reviews given. Glad you enjoyed my madness!

When I first read through the entries I was (as usual) stunned by the level of writing they exhibited. That it was a final duel between I and the illustrious @Bowser warms the cockles of my blackened ratty heart, let alone pulling ahead in the run off.

As always, this was a fantastic competition with amazing entries. Three cheers to the other authors and @Scalenex for continuing to run this competition so excellently. :)

Congrats to @Y'ttar Scaletail on the win! Truly deserved! And to all the authors who took part in this, you should be very proud of your stories.

Ok, against possibly my better judgement i've managed to throw together part of an entry. It's nothing special and i've got at least another couple hundred words to do. But might be enough to help bulk out the compy. :p

Not only bulked it out, after comingback from a shipwreck, you managed to throw together something special after all!
