The A7V... renowned for breaking down right in the middle of a battle so that the Germans ended up stealing our original battle-winning tank design instead.

But then, I imagine even the A7V looked like a genius creation compared to this thing:

One well-placed shell shot and it would be going round in circles :p

I wonder if that inspired Mr. Lucas' team working on the Separatist army units for Episode II?

Watch out, @Paradoxical Pacifism has turned to the Dark Side ;)

Well they saw the flaws and perfected it :D

Are you referring to the A7V or the Russian Hailfire Droid Prototype?

Because as I mentioned above in the case of the former the Germans just stole some of our tanks and then somehow perfected them better than we did (Tigers :shifty:).

And the Russians seem to be good at just one thing - spamming cannon fodder upon threat of death, whether infantry or tanks, even to this day ;) (when they weren't using British lend-lease tanks, and they're definitely not getting their scummy paws on our mighty Challenger IIs nowadays!)

Talking of British tanks, there are not enough on here! :pompus:

Cromwell with added Winston:

The Matilda - an early-WWII British tank that was a nasty anti-infantry vehicle with enough armour to be impenetrable to small-arms fire, but it's woefully small gun rendered it unable to win tank battles:
