The A7V... renowned for breaking down right in the middle of a battle so that the Germans ended up stealing our original battle-winning tank design instead.

But then, I imagine even the A7V looked like a genius creation compared to this thing:

Indeed.
That particular A7V ("Mephisto") was one captured by Aussie forces, stuck in the mud. it is (afaik) the only model still existing.
