In Cub Scouts, my pack did a cake auction as a fund raiser. We made fancy cakes and sold them to raise money and we the scouts competed for prizes.
My dad and I put a lot of effort into it. The First year we made two chocolate cakes to look like the bottom and top of a treasure chest and we filled it with golden candy coins.
The second year, I wanted to make a cake into a pinball machine. It took a lot of trail and error to make the parts that hang over the side or stick up hold together. Cake is not a load bearing substance who knew? We had to make the load bearing parts out of brownie.
When I won the ribbon for "Most Time Consuming" my dad busted a gut laughing.
The next year, we had a new Cub Master and he added the category "Cub Master's Choice." I had a very brilliant and very lazy idea. We made a simple sheet cake, and drew a portrait of the Cub Master out of frosting.
Needless to say I won that year with very little work. I won a lot of awards that year, I took my second year Weblos very seriously.

It's that time of year again (my Birthday) and @Mrs. NIGHTBRINGER has created and delivered another cake masterpiece. In terms of technical execution, this one may very well be her best. I think @Imrahil might enjoy this one...
