GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

Please tell me there was already an older model of Skrorg that looked equally ridiculous.
No clue.

And now a Halfling star player...

It looks like GW might be revealing some Ulgu "Shadow Demons" through Underworlds: Harrowdeep.

The first taste of Malerion, perhaps?

Either Malekith or an interesting theory being discussed at my local GW today alludes to said Shadow Daemons being servants of Be'lakor. More likely to be the former of course because that's been teased for a while, and I'd rather that his Ulgu army be centred around Daemons of Shadow rather than yet more Elves.

It will be interesting to find out.

sent you a pm by the way

Hadn't it already been confirmed that Malekith is doing his thing creating shadow elf nonsense in some of the older stories?

Also, giving Be'lakor his own private faction years after releasing his personal model would be a tad odd. So this doesn't seem terribly likely.

It’s far too soon for a new Underworlds Core Set, as there should be four more individual warband boxes arriving for Harrowdeep after that ghastly Frankenstein Undead set is released.

Some excellent new Eshin Skaven models (perhaps a Night Runner update is on the way? I already have some of the Monkey Rat Night Runners, but some new ones would make good Gutter Runners). As others have said it’s high time Skaven got some new models.

@Just A Skink The Elves they’re up against are not Malekith’s army, they’re more of those Khainite Shadowstalkers that were released as a warband for Warcry and are part of the Daughters of Khaine army. Thus they are nothing of interest.

Whatever Malekith’s troops are going to look like, Daemon or Elf, we won’t be seeing them yet.

Indeed. Oh well, I was hoping for some tease on Malekith and his shadowy army.

How often are these things released?

They are released once a year, but each season has 8 warbands released for it (2 in the core set and 6 others in separate packs) and the next season has never arrived until all the warband boxes for the current season has been released. The current season, Harrowdeep, has currently had only 4 warbands previewed, only 3 of which have been released (the Stormcast and Kruleboyz in the core set, the Ogre pirate warband and the previewed but hitherto unreleased Frankenstein undead warband).

If Harrowdeep is meant to continue the legacy of the previous seasons, there should be four other warband boxes in the pipeline which GW seem to have leapfrogged with their preview of the next season's starter set. Alternatively GW may well have reduced the number of warbands per season to 4, which would line up with this new preview, but would be a shame in my opinion because I like to see variety.
