I HAVE THE POWER!!! (in terms of forum milestones)

cool. now only 67,539 more before you surpass AoS proper.
That is the single most disingenuous presentation of math I have ever seen! o_O

To make your point, you combine the entire AoS forum against the single sub-forum (Other Armies Discussion) of Fantasy. That's not even comparing "apples to oranges" but rather an entire bushel of apples to a single orange.

A good faith calculation would be...
Fantasy = 36,776+22,672+22,935+3,573+2,397+9,928 = 95,281
Age of Sigmar = 38,244 + 13,382 + 10,913 + 2,227 + 5,174 = 69,940

So at the moment, Fantasy is still up by 25,341! Will the AoS sub-forum eventually surpass it? I admittedly believe that it will; but simply because we're pitting a current game against a discontinued game. That is of course unless The Old World turns out to be a big hit. Time will tell, but for now let's not misrepresent the numbers.

And if the day comes that your beloved AoS displaces Fantasy, don't forget that the true realm of the NIGHBRINGER reigns supreme. Undefeated and undisputed...

It will be hard to displace that one. Many of the forum's top posters post there frequently. Consider too that I alone account for nearly 14% of all forum posts! :p

So if you want some, come get some!

You presented a misguided statement based on numbers you derived from an illogical premise. I merely corrected the record. No big issue, but there's no point in trying to pin it on me (especially when we have the written record above) or present a notion that I am somehow upset by it. Meant no offense by it.

:)

no i didn't read it again. my statement only says 64ish thousand until you overtake all of AoS it's a keep going type thing

no you didn't you put an argument i wasn't making into my mouth and then grandstanded againsed a straw man.

That is exactly my point. You compared this:

to the sum of this:

That comparison makes zero sense. If you had compared the "Other Armies Discussion" sub-forum to the "Seraphon Discussion" sub-forum, that would at least be a somewhat fairer comparison. I just don't see the relevance of comparing a single sub-forum against all of AoS, which itself is comprised of 5 entire sub-forums. This is why I labelled it as a "misguided statement based on numbers you derived from an illogical premise." Your math was sound, but the comparison upon which it was built was not.

That is why I shifted the comparison to something that is more valid and on the same level (Fantasy sub-forums versus the Age of Sigmar sub-forums). I hardly consider that to be a strawman because the original argument/comparison/statement was flawed. Apples to apples, not a bushel of apples to a single orange.

At least all this back-and-forth is more quickly propelling you to your Slannhood. :)

it's not a serious comparison you doof! it was both a good job keep going and a joke in one. Lord this is dumb

To be fair, your first comparison was poor too... they are both subforum but one is about "other armies discussions" (so anything related to the topic), compared to the mere "AoS battle report" (a very specific aspect of AoS).

But of course this was meant to have a laugh, so everything's good. :D

I don't know about that...

A sub-forum about a discontinued game that specifically focuses non-lizardmen/seraphon armies while being part of a lizardmen/seraphon forum (Lustria Online). That's probably a little more niche than battle reports from the current GW game and which includes the dominant/target subject matter (lizardmen/seraphon) around which Lustria Online is based. The Other Armies Discussion is also the newest subforum on LO, so it has had the least time to accrue posts.

Regardless, comparing two sub-forums is still comparing two things of the same kind. Otherwise no comparisons could be made at all.
