A typical meme post will get 2 to 4 likes. That's about the same I get for a tactica I spent hours working on
A painted model will probably get you 3 to 5 likes if you are a beginner or like me, not a beginner but perpetually at a beginner's level. An exceptionally well painted or clever conversion get push a post into the double digits likes. The best way to get likes for painting is to make updates at least twice a month. That means you will get some people subscribing to your thread to consistently give you like and it pushes your painting blog towards the top of the queue which occasionally attracts a new viewer who will politely like every article from page one forward.
But make about 50+ memes in the time it takes to paint one model or post 200+ memes that
other people made in said that you found on an internet.
I think the mark of greatness is a single post with lots of likes. Case in point, Mrs. Nightbringer's cakes tend to be among the most liked posts comparable to the very best painting posts.
I am addicted to social media like most of my generation even though L-O is 90% of my social media so I get a tiny dopamine hit when someone likes a meme that I have posted. I get a slightly bigger dopamine hit when someone likes my promotional threads for the contest or when someone likes a meme that I have originated. I get a slightly bigger dopamine hit when someone likes something on my Scarterra thread or likes one of my old tacticas and I get the biggest dopamine hits when someone likes one of my works of fiction and then leaves a comment with constructive criticism.
Course I really need to get a dog because petting a dog is a great way to get dopamine fixes all day long, but my current situation does not allow me to get a dog at this time.
Then I could theoretically post pictures of my dog on the "Canine lizards" thread
