It does seem that 40K still gets more love than AoS for inapparent reasons (more ways to sell Space Marines in the former game? ;)), which is ironic given that Fantasy was in the same position before they executed it.

I do find it amusing how AoS is becoming more and more like Fantasy over time. Even the rules themselves are bearing more similarities to Fantasy now (AoS units are now the equivalent of 8th Edition Skirmishers, Ward Saves have explicitly made a comeback, e.t.c).
