Hey guys, I'm fairly new to the idea of a paint blog.

I'm pretty happy with the progress my Carnosaur is taking, as it will be carrying my Oldblood General into battle. Seraphon lore is still sort of a mystery to me, so I need some help naming the Carnosaur.

The General is Geedo-Ra, The Golden King, General of the Chicxulub Warhost (see my profile image). Obviously, the inspiration is King Ghidorah from the Godzilla universe. Needing some help naming my carnosaur; something volcanic, or meteoric....

Anyway, here is the first progress shot! Finished up the head & neck this weekend, lemme know your thoughts!

3. Drybrush.

Black scales are Dawnstone, then a light Skink blue

Red is Mephiston red heavy drybrush, Evil Sunz Scarlet heavy drybrush, go lighter with Wild Rider red, lighter with Trollslyer orange, lightest with Fire dragon Bright

Grey is Heavy drybrush Eshin grey, heavy Skavenblight dinge, lighter Stormvermin fur, lighter Dawnstone, lightest Administratum grey

That's a pretty quick and nicely looking paint-style! Especially with the dry-brush allowing you to smooth the transitions really well.

This is an awesome start! Keep going matey!
 
The Carnosaur is done! Since this photo, the Oldblood has been attached and the Mordant Earth has been applied, which just needs to dry.
Have you guys enjoyed this blog? Considering one for my overall Warhost, which I can update sporadically.

I've also come up with the name Raa'Thellos for the Carnosaur, ridden by Geedo-Ra, General of the Chicxulub Warhost! Thoughts and ideas appreciated :)

What a nice paint job you have got going on here.

Great work on the model and nice touch with the base.

Definitely keep posting! We all like to see progress on people's paint jobs and (hopefully) it should inspire people to do more.
 
I enjoyed the carnosaur! Would love to see more painting projects
