So i'm currently thinking about the Saurus i've got, then I'm thinking about all the cool artwork for them, and my brain can't help but notice that there there's a bit of a disconnect between the two (like I'm sure many others have before me). The Saurus sculpts are just kind of skinny - their limbs are too thin, and the small shoulders and thighs especially really detract from their physical bulk.

Specifically its the Total War version that really hammers the difference home:

Obviously since I want my army to be as brutal and physically intimidating as possible, this annoys me immensely so I'll probably be trying to find a way to fix it that doesn't involve me buying 6 of the blood bowl kit. I'm assuming this discussion has been had before but I can't seem to find much mention of it - anyone have any ideas on how to make them look more like 'hunched killing machine' rather than 'skinny derpy lizard'.

Thanks - Bored at work atm so just daydreaming of lizardmen conversions :D:turtle:

Hi @Uber. There is a similar post by @Dr Zephy, where he actually modified his GW Saurus warriors.

Plus, there are several options for 3D printed lizardmen/seraphon that can be found online. You can see many of those posts in this thread.

Of course, you can just do online searches. Popular searches are Raven Twin Miniatures, One Page Rules, Lost Kingdom Miniatures, and Last Sword Miniatures, but there are others.

There might be more threads on the forums, but these are the ones that jumped to my mind.

Good luck!

Looking forwards to what you come up with!
