I guess it depends how you got the scars. If you fought off a bear or crocodile hand-to-hand it is badass but if you simply slipped on a banana peel and fell down the stairs, it is less cool.

well in this case a lady in full power armorer got 15 (that we can see) sword cuts and oddly no bullet scars. odd

Maybe she wasn't wearing her power armour at the time. Maybe it was a contest using only close quarters weapons.


Reminds me of lions. You always see hyenas harassing lions in an attempt to steal their kills. There are countless examples of them driving multiple lions off of their kill. Then there was this one video of this scarred up male lion with his kill. He is alone, with not a single other lion around him. There must be like 50 hyenas circled around him, but not one within 50 meters! The narrator then chimes in: this one has a reputation. I wish I could find the video.

Scars basically convey:
  • you've been through shit
  • whatever shit you've been through, it didn't kill you

For instance, if you get into a fight, try to make sure it isn't against the guy with the cauliflower ears!


But like I said, it depends how you got the scars.
