A couple years ago this would have made me ecstatic. Now I'm like "Meh, that's okay I guess."

I'm not sure what would make me want to pay money for Star Wars. Kennedy dug a big hole for Favreau to climb out of.

I'd like Disney to decouple from the CCP I suppose and denounce the concentration camps. Then I might consider re-subscribing to Disney+.

A while ago I needed a thermometer. I rationalized buying a Made in China thermometer instead of a Made in Anywhere Else thermometer.

That would have required me to drive to another store and pay $10 instead of $4. So I suppose I have the ability to rationalize overlooking a CCP partner for something I need with an economic incentive attached. Even months after the fact, I kind of feel a little guilty about this.

But I don't need good Star Wars, I want good Star Wars.

As long as Kennedy is out, there is hope, CCP or not. The CCP issue doesn't bother me as much because they are tied into just about everything, and I have no desire to boycott everything. That said, I recognize that the CCP is a bigger issue for you than it is for me.

It's not just that. I just lost interest in Star Wars. Looking back, my favorite part of Star Wars was not the movies, but the Expanded Universe novels (which were the only books I read for fun from age 13-16), which Disney has nuked the EU and I doubt Jon Favreau will bring it back.

That's true, but I still enjoy the novels just the same. Disney can't take them away.
