I consider this a good day. That means I can start my day moderately well-rested without hearing my awful alarm.

If I wake up 30-40 minutes before my alarm goes off, that really sucks.

It's too long a period of time to not try to catch a few more winks, but it's so short I cannot relax and fall asleep again, at least until 5 minutes before alarm time.

They were doing those in Scotland when I was there in 1997, which was the first time I'd heard of them.
