It needs some refinements and finishing touches before it is ready to paint. Then comes the real assembly.

I say it is tedious work. And in the end the indents weren't deep enough to propperly drybrush it :(
So now I am painting it tile per tile :confused::confused:

I hope the end result is worth it

Last Monday was my spawning day.
I persuaded my twin brother to buy a double sided gaming mat(3'x4') to have our future episodes of Battle Companies on.

Also this is the first hobby related gift I have gotten on my birthday ever :eek:

The first side is completely paved. Scenery for this side still needs to be developed ;) :

Sadly not, the dark part is based and washed, but the tiles don't stand out much.
Also I deluded the paint for the basecoat so I wouldn't run out of paint that quick

There is progress, be it slowly.

I finished the tile floor :rolleyes::):)
Now on to some wall 'primer'

When this is dry I will pick out random bricks to differ in color (Brown, dark grey and light grey). After that a heavy drybrush of light grey and a black wash.
(Perhaps in between even a white drybrush)
