I will admit my view of Eighth is probably skewed by the fact that the local WHFB scene died at about the same time it was released.

I've played 6th and 8th. Greatly prefer 8th. By a country mile.

6th was pretty much the last edition of WFB I played. I kind of petered out and never got to play 7th edition, and was in my warhammer dark ages during 8th edition and AoS 1st edition. I ran a dark elf cityguard army during 6th that I enjoyed immensely...
