AoS Kroxigor rules

I apologize if this has been asked and answered before, but how do the rules for Kroxigor work?

Does a unit of skinks (or skink hero) have to be wholly within 6" of the unit of Kroxigor?



Or does the unit of Kroxigor have to be wholly within 6" of a unit of skinks (or skink hero)?

It is B. The rule states 'while it is wholly within 6" of any Skink units.'

Wholly within was an adjustment to most auras and such to make it much harder to benefit from buffs.

You'll find this applies to all rules that say "Wholly Within", as part of an effort to make the language of AoS more uniform and easy to read.

Thank you. I assumed that was correct, but I wanted to make sure. Hmm... it will probably be easier to put a unit of skinks behind/in front of them.

A starpriest just behind them, that also provides a lot of additional buffs, works great.
