Adherents of Haset: An Unofficial AOS Race (Previously The Hathorians)

Working on some Greenstuff fur work atm, going for a longer fur to give a mountain/highland feel. I think its coming along fairly well so far! Going to let this part rest for a bit, I keep accidentally flattening it with a finger and having to redo areas lol

This is a Honored Warchief / Warchief on foot

Love this very much!! You nailed the thick fur pretty good. Real Highland vibes.

I am wondering about the colorscheme you will be using(seeing the purple theme on Haset)

Definitely thinking about that, I was honestly thinking of redwood brown, tan, grey, grey-blue, blue-black

Not 100% sure yet, the purple will carry over to the crotch clothes like it is on Haset.

Definitely want them more natural looking and able to blend into the Hyshian Forests, mountains and highlands

What are your thoughts on a color scheme? Out of curiosity
 
Not finished, but wanted to share how he looks now that he dried overnight :) Fur looks super good (better) dried, excited to finish him up today sometime. The next two Im going to attempt to use tweezers, it was suggested on the soulbound discord. Also going to attempt braids on the second two Hathorians, and possibly add some to this current one.

I bought 3 kits originally, 2 so I could do both Avalenor & a regular Spirt of the Mountain, the third was to make Haset. Each Kit comes with 2 heads. I need more heads, but cant keep buying kits, so gonna hunt around eventually
 
So, sadly LO doesnt allow video uploads, but I have some more greenstuff work to share! Working to give the Hathorians thicker hair I decided to add some head fluff, much like thr highland cow shown, and I think it turned out well! Makes the mask look more like a real face (though lore wise still a mask) but I like the realism, and most importantly makes it look different than BoC!

Also put him with some Stoneguard, definitely looks good with them :)

This will likely be my Warchief or Honored Warchief, the idea will be to make him an Eltherion/Oldblood equiv. I may still add a few small bits

Looks great!

You should be able to embed a video link... if you use the button two over from the smilies button and past in the link.

Hey everyone!

It has been a big day! I was able to prime and start painting my first Hathorian! I am super proud of the outcome of this kitbash, and I only hope the rest turn out as well or better. The greenstuff work is far from perfect, but I'm super proud of the fur I was able to sculpt, and I definitely look forward to the next!

As this is my first Hathorian, and officially my Eltherion stand in, this will either be an Honored Warchief or a regular Warchief on foot and will be named. I am still debating on a name, but hoping to have one and some homebrew for him:)

The color scheme for the fur is influenced heavily by Highland Cows (or Coo's?), I love red-browns and it was already the color palette I was thinking. My original plan for the armor was to follow suit with my Wardens, however the orange makes it a bit too monotone, so I am instead going with a blue-grey; like Haset’s skin. Still debating on the shield color...

Still WIP and still working on the fur :)

Would love any thoughts or C&C!

Hey everyone!

Got a small update today, started working on his armor a bit! I think I have the fur down, so bagan his shoulders, I think they're turning out well thus far. I was/am aiming for a birch feel with the white parts and then also drawing in Haset’s skin tone of the blue.

Still a good amount to do but definitely making good progress :)

What do you all think? He will also be my Eltharion stand in for my Lumineth.

Im also going to work on his warscroll, I need to figure out if he is an Honored Warchief or just a regular warchief on foot....

I like the combination of yellow and blue. Those colors on his cheeks give me right out Thousand Sons vibes :p
The white blue on his nose looks amazing.

I think it will all tie in once you have painted the shield and the rest of the armor as well.
