Blog [6th ed] The road to 2k!

Hello everyone,
So I've decided to post my progress in working my way up to a fully painted 6th edition Lizardmen army, which has been a project that I've had in mind for the last 10 years or so, just never got around to doing it.
In fact, I already have most of the models I need, they've been lying around my garage for all these years

Neat-o, managed to find some time to finish up the bases for the Kroxigors as well! Woo!

Thanks man, quite enjoyed the way the Troll came out. Always a satisfaction when you manage to properly integrate the model to the base.

Alright, so almost done with my temple guard, a few more details and adding water effects after I've made their movement tray. A few notes, I think I hate the tails of the saurus.. made it near impossible to rank up. Also I was a whole lot less enthusiastic about painting them then I thought I would be, perhaps it's due to their blocky poses? Either way, super happy to move on to something new now - next step will most likely be a big Dino, either Kroq-gar or a stegadon.

I've magnetized my Saurus and then they're fine on ranking up.

I worked out a simple way to do it, PM me if you want the details.

Hey man, just did the same, problem was I had not accounted for the tails when making the bases, so blocked some tails with bushes and what have you.
