Thanks at always for your feedback!
Those are beautiful sculpts!

If you pre-order are they actual minis or stl files?

I have purchased the Salamander set. Looking forward to painting them up!

DEEP JUNGLE WARDEN REVIEW
Purchased: 2 March 2020.
Arrived: 27 October 2020 (exacerbated by COVID-related delay shipping to my country of Australia).

The product arrived in a small white box pictured below.

Inside the box was some foam to protect the pieces of the mini. There were no assembly instructions included, but this is a very simple mini so it shouldn't be an issue for most people.

This mini is made out of a pure white substance I haven't encountered before. Nothing seemed broken upon inspection; however, there are some mould lines in places, but they do not obscure any detail and should be easy to remove.

The included 50mm base is made of (the same?) white material but it is very bendy. You can see in the below image I've bent it into this shape. I will be sticking with a Citadel black base personally.

I also got a discount code as an apology for my long wait time, thank you for that.

Overall I am happy with this product so far and looking forward to assembling and painting it (hopefully) shortly.

Hi man! Thanks for the review and can't wait to see what you do with it! Please tag me when you do.

Also if you think something could be improved i would suggest contacting The Clay project team directly ( i think they have their email on the website or instagram) as they have been very opened to changes when I worked designing the minis for them. I am sure they will hear you out.

Cheers again! Happy to see you liked my designs!

So when assembling this mini everything fit together very well except the tail. Maybe I did something wrong but I couldn't get the tail to attach without there being a gap somewhere. So I'll just have to gap fill that.

Now, the spear unfortunately suffers the same problem as the base in that it is very flimsy, and by flimsy I mean easily bendable, not brittle. I'm not really a fan of this but luckily there was a piece from a Carnosaur kit that seemed ready made for this problem:

The spears are almost identical except the Games Workshop one has a feather and a flat end, whereas the Jungle Warden's spear has a pointed edge. Regardless, I am happy with the final product. Waiting on obtaining a Citadel base atm but looking forward to painting him and adding him to my army!

Absolutely beautiful Salamanders! I might have to buy some even though my playscene doesn't allow for non GW brand models at events.

Size comparison of the Deep Jungle Warden. Dwarfs even the mighty Gor-Rok!

Fun mini to paint. Difficult to reach the inner area and back of the log though, so some people may want to paint those areas before attaching it to a base. There were some mould slips here and there. Really like his shoulder pad and roaring face.

Here's hoping you make an epic Kroxigor next!

Trying to get Faster at painting my army wile at the same time keeping it a touch over tabletop quality, what do you guys think?

Solid work, very smooth transitions on the scales and crystal:artist::artist:
The Gold looks a bit flat, looks like it is missing a highlight or shade

otherwise, outstanding Tabletop for sure

Grrr, Imrahil

Fantastic! I love the highlighting style, the thickness gives it a cel-shaded look to it. Did you glaze the pointy parts of the green scales on the bastiladon or airbrush?

I agree with Imrahil too - some highlighting on the gold bits would bring it in line with the rest of the model.
