Star Trek Discovery has no scenes like this. Part of the optimistic tone of classic Star Trek is how they resolve conflicts.
STD has swearing, name calling, and the first episode has an attempted mutiny in it.
Everyone at Lucas Film is trying to cling to Baby Yoda to get to the metaphorical life boats as Disney lays off employees.
