AoS Pink horrors question

Guys i had i problems when i played with my friend that play tzeentch. He got 5 pink horrors. I did 5 wounds to them with damage 2. He rolled armor save and he save 1 wound . So 8 damage pass. Pinks got extra save on 6. He rolled 8 dice and saves 2. 6 woinds pass. I killed 5 pinks and 1 blues. He still got 19 blues . Is this right guys?

no they only split into 2 so you killed 5 so he would have 10 and then one of the blues would die and leave him with 9 blues and 1 brim.
