I'm afraid the warband will be a bit of everything and then not be much good for AoS. If it is just 1 chameloen skink, a skink priest and possibly either a razordon or salamandar perhaps, then all we get is a tease of how cool a unit could look. You wont buy 10 boxes to make a unit of 10 identical chameleon skinks, neither would 3 identical razordons for example be all that appealing.

If the warband is simply 5 different charmeleon skinks though, well that would be useful, but I doubt that will be it.

Most likely what we get is that skink priest, so that can replace the resin version of that at least... Disappointing if it is one of the heroes already in plastic.

i got 12 blood bowl boxes to use for saurus warriors and im not the only one. you have no idea how desperate the old guard is for new models. if this new warband has a krox in it i will buy 6 THAT is how much i want new sculps. and lizardWizard is the same way with the chameleon

The Bloodbowl team is also a massive tease with GW sending out vastly superior saurus sculpts to a smaller game. It seems it would be so easy to just modify a design they already made and release a new sarurus warrior kit...

I doubt I'd ever go as far as 12 blood bowl boxes, perhaps that is all part of GWs plan, but if there is a super cool new Kroxigor in the underworlds warband I might be tempted if a bit of conversion work and green stuff could provide som variation and poses. 3-6 identical kroxigors would just look bad, so would depend on how easy the sculpts are to modify I guess in my case.

Boggled the mind how they do these releases. Imagine how much a new combo kit for Salamanders and Razordons could have sold if that came out with the release of the new book, and a new Slann/Kroak kit

If it was a priest, 2 chameleons, a skink handler or 2 and a salamander that would be excellent. A bit of conversion work and we finally start getting some sorely needed model updates. Or a convertable kroxigor. I'll take anything at this point haha

I think you are quite wrong about most of those Rumour Engines. The second might be, but the bone pipe is disputed. The ohter are all to naily to be Skinks, these are more of a faction of death limbs.

It would be glorious to get a nakai model he'd be a fun named character that is overpriced for what he can do

Honestly, if GW isn't going to give us any new named characters they just need to bring back some of the old ones (no pun intended, lol!).

We really need named characters that can actually hit hard while being hard to remove from the battlefield, especially since they seem determined to keep all of our dinosaurs as glass cannons. It would also go a long way to add more flavor to our faction and tie us in to the lore of the actual setting better.

They left it open in the End Times stuff that characters like Kroq-Gar, Tehenahuin, Gor-Rok, etc., could very easily have survived by getting onto the temple-ships when they were taking off. And since at the very least the Saurus are biologically immortal, they could still be around. They could just come up with some magical stasis handwave to explain how Skink characters stayed alive this whole time. Maybe they're all immortal now with the whole star magic infusion thing going on, who knows?

A new kroxigor model to work with would prob be the best addition for me. They are quite good on the table but the models are just soooo bad sadly. I've seen some passable salamander conversions, but nothing in the realm of kroxigor looks good enough imo

A kroxigor Ancient would be a perfect kroxigor hero in the roster and gives Kroxigors a cast in the line.
