Just saw this going back into my blog, I agree!

Interesting enough, in my lore for Troglodons the females are much bigger, more corrosive acid spit, etc than the males and dont have sails.

And yeah... my wallet needs a break, this latest kitbash will likely he the last big project for awhile. Thats ok though, going to work on the TL and work on some other stuff. I have a bunch if knights ajd warriors to finish and build...yeah lol

Would love to see some kitbashes or lore stuff from ya sometime when funds allow!

Oh there's a lot of stuff going on ;)

Netheria is looking great, At the moment I am stuck on how to do her beak and forelimbs, but otherwise shes rather on track! Her base is done along with a nest containing Yoshi style eggs! I finally got the Magnets I need so going to start fiddling with actually being able to put her on the rock without the flight stand to stabilize/support her (I got 2x1mm magnets):

I've also been working on a kitbashed Star Seer, I'm going to see what else I can add to the Palanquin, but the star seer itself is going to be a Star Priest model as I really love the model! I will likely alter the star priest model a tad to be more like a star seer. I want to add more vines and maybe a few other things, but i think the it overall looks pretty good and should able to be primed soon. Here is the Palanquin, though the Triceratops skull is still being debated:

Definitely a lot going on, not to mention the lore I'm still writing lol This new Temple Host project has really taken over between Kitbashing, lore writing and world building!

This is my latest kitbash that I have named the Ayotekutiladon which loosely translates to Turtle Lord. I was originally trying to design a large Turtle-Dragon, which in many ways I did but I feel its taken its own form as well. I'll be playing it as a Bastiladon and will also be making a custom warscroll for it:)

The Shell is a mixture of Gal Vorbak Red (Base, Burgundy color), pink horror wet blended at the tips working into dry brushed screamer pink and then finally Lilac on the very top. I then added Aethermatic Blue Contrast into the white crevasses to dye them and then all over the shell to give it its wine like color as it mixed with the lilac and pinks.

Underbelly is a base if Yriel Yellow dry brushed with Tau Light Ochre then washednwith Hazdreg Yellow followed by a Dry brush of Lugganath Orange with a wash of Iyanden Yellow

Now to decide on the tongue (green?) and claws (obsidian black?), then the base.

I love this picture, it shows richer colors:artist:

I think the Orange tail needs a bit more contrast or variation in Color.
I like the Arc of Sotek added to it, especially the Skink in the front:cool:

It really does! I keep thinking ive poured wine over it and its stayed and dyed the shell lol

I've been thinking if how to do a custom Star Seer for my army and I think I've done it :)

Carried by two Horned ones and driven by two skink handlers, and equipped with a forward facing crystal that the Star Seer may focus his magic into to create a powerful mobile artillery chariot.

I just love the models of Slanns being carried by Krox/Guards and wanted to add to that legacy

Its not primed so everything kinda blends together, any suggestions on what to add or take away would be greatly appreciated

I think it's a fantastic idea. Physics-wise, you need to have some kind of third support as it would be extremely top heavy and would be prone to over-balance and fall over in it's current form.

Just an observation to add to the idea.

Thank you :) I think im addicted to kitbashing...

If I was to add another support, where would I add it? Not a lot of space left haha

I also may be magnetizing it if i can get it to work...
 
Aside from some very minor details and baring that the glue doesn't hold her up on her own (magnets were not enough, at least the ones I got, 2x1mm).... Netheria herself is done! All that is left to do is the star priest that sits below her!

Her eyes are probably my favorite part besides her thagomizer, i went for a green emerald life energy feel, let me know how you feel about it!

C&C always welcome, ill explain more about her when her priest is done :)
