New Chameleon Skink

Beat me to it by a few seconds! ;)

Feel free to go wild now guys, you’ve been waiting for this for a long time :D

And that Chameleon Skink looks great, so much better than the Blood Bowl ones. Pity there will probably be only one of him in the set though, meaning you’d have to buy loads of the set to get him, but then he could make a good updated Oxyotl miniature for Warhammer Fantasy.

I do hope there will be some Saurus and/or a Kroxigor in the set too, because an all-Skink set would be boring...

Even if this one is a Skink focused Warband I fully expect a Saurus based one in a future season like Ironjawz also got 2 now

That is a fair point, as the first Ironjaw one was Ardboyz and the second one was Brutes. I hope they make a Saurus one, it would be great to see some new sculpts of Saurus wrecking face as they should be

Been waiting for them to do a proper redesign of chameleon skinks with a more authentic hand form and how they adept they are when moving about terrain. Only tragedy is this is an underworlds release and we've recently got our army book but if gw ever does give us new/remodeled units for seraphon in aos then i remain optimistic in the path they are going.

Looks like i wont need to get a fine cast mini for my seraphon theme chamelon skink. Can't wait to see the rest, not gonna lie was hoping for a warband so we could get even more models, even if that is a bit cheeky.

not what i was expecting seems far more feral then most lizard men are. looking forward to seeing what else is in the team

Looks like they are sticking on the fine line of "the lizards get like 4 plates of metal as armour and bones. SKinks are naked except feathers" which is nice but i wouldnt mind more on them.

It's honestly not more feral than the current chameleons, the only difference is that it's sitting in a treebranch but it has basicly the same equipment; a blowpipe, some darts and a frog stuck on its body somewhere.

Honestly I like it, hopefully it also makes for a decent unit in the main game. Curious what the other models will be.

That looks so sick. Part of me is excited for what else the warband contains but part of me is just sad because this is a reminder of how bad ass our model range could look. Most warband are 3-6 models for 25 euro so probably not going to be economically feasible to buy them and use as AoS replacements

Nah, this one is leaning more towards lizard than man compared to the current chameleons (and seraphon in general). Its on all four instead of standing upright, the hands are a lot less human-like and it lacks a defined neck. Remove all the gear from the current chammos and they look like lizard-men, remove the gear from this and it looks pretty much just like a normal chameleon with slightly longer limbs.

Imho, the main difference is the pose, the current chameleons would look very similar when climbing a tree.

Admittadly, this one does accentuate the chameleon aspects more, with actual bulging eyes, legs that bend in a funny way & a pronounced headcrest. But imho that doesn't make it more "feral". Merely more "chameleon-y" :p

I am hoping for a Skink Wizard/Priest Hero, and a Kroxigor in the remainder of the Warband. I assume the Seraphon looking Staff in the rumor engine was part of this Warband.
