AoS GH2020 update

Take realm of ghur so you can fight in the top bracket as long as you have the cp you can continue to churn out maximum damage potential
i feel like this trait will only be useful with a dread saurian, as the way most combat works with monsters in AoS, whoever gets the drop on the other wins so you won't get much use out of this with carnos, stegs, or most of our other behemoths. However it will work wonders on a dread saurian.

Honestly reminds me of stimulant injector from the tau, very useful stratagem in the right context

You might be able to get a lot of work out of a dread if you Buff the dread with starseer and starpriests so they are -1 to hit and he is 3+ to save and then use GHur to keep him always fighting at full health. Seems interesting enough to try.

For such a durable amount of wounds that costs (relatively) little I could easily envision it seeing a significant amount of play, of course depending on the battleplan and amount of terrain

Starpriest has to go on the enemy unit, but still the same idea.

Geminids is probably better after thinking about it, but if you can stack both on their big hitter, dread will be basically unkillable.

Yeah, he's just super easy to screen and doesn't do a ton of damage. I think he's still really strong in the right list, but it needs to be the right list aka something in thunderquake with double bastis probably.

lots of cp generation to double tap bastilidons. A big unit of skinks to put mortals down on things. Kroak engine to deal with heroes and magic. Skink package to buff. Should be decently tanky. Flying dread that can charge 3d6 will get stuck in with whatever it wants to and buy time for bastilidons to clean up. Best way I can think to take it and stay competitive. Just sucks you lose the teleport and bravery 10 of starborne.

Depends on how you use what you have in terms of competitiveness vs ok this guy is a dick(me) this build looks lovely though. And im spacing out but what does hand of glory do again?

reroll hit rolls of 1 until next hero phase for a unit. So you could put it on the skinks or a bastiladon or the dread.

against a 3+ with rerolling ones thats some decent damage
