AoS 1K5 Amry list

Hi mates,

This weekend, I'll have a whole game weekend, so I'll be playing a couple of games (finally).

So it'll be my first game with the new BT.

I was thinking of this kinf of list :

Allegiance: Seraphon
- Constellation: Koatl's Claw
Lord Kroak (320)
Saurus Sunblood (130)
Skink Starpriest (120)
Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (110)
40 x Saurus Warriors (320)
- Clubs
10 x Saurus Knights (200)
- Blades
Bastiladon (220)
Balewind Vortex (40)

Total: 1460 / 1500
Extra Command Points: 0
Allies: 0 / 200
Wounds: 95

I would like some opinions, idea, critics and all the stuff

I would replace the Bastiladon with 10x Chameleon Skinks. They are less durable, but for 40 points cheapers they should deal on average 2 more damage. Maybe bring Bound Geminids with the left overs.

swap blades for lances on knights. those extra mortals on charge work wonders even in low probability scenarios... every MW counts lol

I quite hesitate. I wanted at least a big dino in my list. But I'll try with the Chameleon. We'll see.

I didn't select the weapon ^^. I let the default ones. But yeah, I think that I'll take spears.

I think you can change the Sunblood for an astrolith bearer

it will give you an other +6 " for your kroak spells (and other wizards), +1 to spells and dispells and 6+ fell no pain for your 60 saurus's HP
i usualy find astrolith bearer hard to put in a list but in that one he could be really worthy.

I take the Sunblood for his CA. But, I didn't think about the astrolith bearer. It's a nice substitution.

I could try it too maybe. We'll see. But for the first game, I want to use lot of saurus

Right, I forgot i was for your first game with that BT.

That I usualy do now, it's that when I do a list, I always play it as it was in my first though, even if i'm pretty sure some units are gonna be bad.
That way, if units are actually bad, I don't only know it theoricaly but I understand it instinctively.

So, I tried the list that I posted with the Chameleon and not the bastilladon, the astrolith bearer instead of the sunblood and the Gemini.
And It was a huge succes.
I think I'll will always take some chameleons with me. To be able to snipe a key hero is very nice.

For a second game I used this list :
