What are you doing today hobbywise?

Got my Lumineth Boxset in the mail today :bag: Just one of the few that like their aesthetics, got an idea on how to do their bases and now just deciding on colour schemes. Would like to do something with gold but most of my gold layer paints are messed up, every time I get a new gold layer paint it just separates and just doesn't highlight when I want it. It's weird, unless make an attempt on nmm gold. Will have to work something out for gold ready for when I get all the Ankh stuff from the Kickstarter.

Powered through a pot and a half of Fuegan Orange with the airbrush on these guys, constituting little more than half of the saurus warriors I'll be needing in a Koatl's Claw list I'm working on, two oldbloods, an astrolith bearer, and chronomantic cogs.

I also took some time to start repainting a bell of doom I've had lying around. Re-primed the bell with Retributor Armour, followed by some Coelia Greenshade.

Sort of writing two stories at the same time. For the Short story-contest 23 and a late piece for the Short story-contest 22:rolleyes::oops:

Still deciding if I should post it when it is finished or keep it for an other contest in the future;)

Grrr, Imrahil

Post it!

(based on Scalenex's rules you can't use a story you've already started writing anyways so...)

Finally finished a short project last night. I bought a set of the AoS objectives a while back to paint and completed the last one last night. I'll post pictures of the whole set when I get a chance. Also, I basecoated 10 more poxwalkers and painted up some paint tests for terrain. (I cut small circles from cardboard, glued on sand, then painted them.)

And my nieces and nephews came over for a MCU Marathon. I got more poxwalkers done, leaving me with only 15 left out of 40. I also finished one of the terminators from the Dark Vengeance set done. I also taught my youngest nephew to paint with one of the poxwalkers. He started building the Primarus Space Marines and I'll get him painting them tomorrow. Got to teach the next generation.

Absolutely fantastic you're passing on the legacy! Nice one!

I agree, but you could have taught him to paint something other than Imperium and Chaos models, just saying. We don’t want them all to become Space Marine and Chaos Space Marine players because then there will be no variety in their games or collections ;)

Yesterday I gave into the dark side and went shopping on evil-bay. Bought three original blister packs of Skaven Packmasters with Giant Rats (metal ones). While on break at work. Came home, fed cat, gave him his diabetes meds. Then I worked on stuff for the pathfinder RPG, then I fed the cat. Then I slept, woke up, fed cat, slept, woke up, fed cat, slept, woke up, fed cat, gave cat his diabetes meds, went back to sleep...

His metabolism is really messed up from the diabetes. Meds are slowly bringing it under control, but he cannot eat dry food at the moment, so canned food every three hours or so. But it is better than three days ago when he needed food every hour and a half...

Okay, so really what I am doing is keeping an eye on a sick cat and trying to make him feel better. He's doing pretty good now.

You're a good dad to the cat mate. He's lucky to have you as an owner. That's some real dedication there.
