AoS saurus alpha talon help

Morning all, something has piqued my interest and im hoping somebody can answer my issue

Seraphon saurus knights. Ive made a unit from starter box. My alpha talon comes with its own cool celestite warblade. Right it looks cool. Bigger than all the others, but i wanna play my unit with warspears. Which i have equipped them with. Can i equip him with the sword like alpha blade and still run him in a squad of warspears or do i have to equip him with the warspears as well so the whole unit is the same. Seems a bit of a waste to not equip him with the coolest looking weapon available to the saurus knights. Still have spare warspears for the unit but none are allocated alpha weapons unlike the celestite sword alpha warblade

Yeah that should be fine every now and again you have an opponent who's a dick but most people won't mind at all if you run a sword in a spear group

Make the Alpha look like a badass. He is supposed to look different and stand out. Dont see the issue if the rest are with spears.
