AoS Big question, how to get Shadowstrike Temple-host work successfully

One other thing to keep in mind. Only the Shadowstrike Starhost gets to deepstrike. The Temple-Host gets The Trap is Sprung re-rolls.

I will have to double check the wording when I have my Malign Sorcery book handly, but I am pretty sure there is a rule that says one of each endless spell model may be included in an army. If that is the case then they won't stack :(
 
they will most likely errata it, but RAW the warscroll name for bound and normal spells is different. the BOUND portion is in the title, and it has different stats on the scroll. so... as is... you can take both versions. for now.

The rule doesn't care about the warscroll names, just the model

my understanding was that exactly.... you could pay for each model.
 
Seraphon-inspired/styled bound endless spell models would be so cool! Few ideas:
  • a giant swinging macuahuitl instead of the pendulum
  • small floating "pools" with a very lizardmen/Seraphon-styled rim for the spellportals
  • giant dinosaur head for gnashing jaws (a la @Lizerd's spare Dread Saurian head)
  • swarm of lizards/snakes for the lifeswarm
  • Seraphon/Lizardmen styled COGS (or a gyroscope!)
  • celestite spears/lances for the quicksilver sword
  • a giant kroak like mask on fire for the burning head/with energy swirling for maelstrom (could make smaller paired version for Geminids)
  • spare Saurus banners fit together for the palisade (can paint it crystalline-like for extra flavor)
  • vine-like shackles with Seraphon collars
...and that's all I got lol

never mind I looked it up lol. yeah that would look awesome
 
We could actually use celestial swarms as those endless tides of snakes. In old fantasy bastiladons with an ark of Sotek would spew out snakes and add bases to swarm units. It would be a good use of them as right now, they are pretty useless.


I’ve also still got to figure out the dread saurian endless spell
