AoS BT 2.0 - Building from the Start Collectings

Hi Everyone!
The release of the new tome is a marvelous time to get people that are/were interested in the Seraphon (myself included) into the army. Seraphon lucky has 2 start collect to choose from, so lots of options! I don't have a specific list in mind, but I thought I could start the discussion to help other with the same interest that will soon come here for help.

The first start collecting (the saurus one) basically give the following options:
- Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur (250) or Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur (210) or Skink Oracle on Troglodon (260)
-5 x Saurus Knights (100) (with 3 spare)
-10 x Saurus Warriors (90) (with 2 spare)
Total points: 400 (Scar-veteran build) ~ 450 (Oracle build)

With some conversions we can get even more from it (Tutorial):
- Skink Priest (70) or Skink Starpriest (120)
- Saurus Astrolith Bearer (140)
- Saurus Oldblood (110) or Saurus Sunblood (130)
- Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (110)

Two boxes give all the conversions heroes, two combinations Carnosaurs/Troglodon and a better sized Saurus units (20 Warriors and 15 Knights), building around 1490 points if you build the most expensive models points wise. It also opens up a Battalion, the Firelance Starhost/Temple-Host (both 160 points) with 3 units of 5 Knights and one of the Scar-Veterans.

The new start colelcting (Skinks!) give the following:
- Skink Starpriest (120)
- Bastiladon (220)
- 3 x Terradon Riders (90) or Ripperdactyl Riders (80)
- 10 x Skinks (60) (with 2 spare)
Total points: 480 (Ripperdactyls build) ~ 490 (Terradon build)
(It's possible to build the Chief version of the ridders, but it doesn't seen optimal for a starter to do so)

While this start collecting doesn't give conversions options or alternative models, it has some really good units. With a extra unity of Skink it's possible to get the Shadostrike Starhost/Temple-Host (170/150 points) Battalion.

The Saurus Start collecting looks like a nice start to a Coalesced list (Specially for Koatl's Claw) while the Skink one look generally good.

So which builds would you sugest with the units that we can get from those Start Collecting? Share your list ideias! (Doesn't have to be a 2k points list, 1k and 1.5k list are welcome to)

I think that is you get a second Skink box, you can use the bits from the Bastilidon kit (if you build one of each variant) you can convert a Skink Starseer with some effort.
I may give it a go after I do get two boxes to expand my collection.

Thats nice to hear! Two start collecting skinks + a skink box could make the following:

Assuming that you make the second Starpriest into a normal Priest to get his command ability and
take 2 skinks from the bastiladon kit to get 50 skinks.

Another option would be going Coalesced with the Thunder Lizard sub allegiance, that would make the list 20 points cheaper. Reduce one unit of skinks by 10 and use 6 of them to make Handlers for 2 salamanders (need to get the 2 salamanders models somewhere), which would give a nice 1.5k shooting focused list.
