True. Maybe there's a reliable way to get him to a 4+ or 5+ to wound. But then again, this won't really affect how we play Bastis, since they're mostly backline shooty.

Well, they are two attacks reach 2" 4's 3's rend 1 2D. The Moonhammer is the same, but has a see below rules. Their jaws are much better now too. Hopefully the keep their skink synergies.

Honestly, it all looks fine to me so far. Don't know Spanish so I can't really say what they all do, but the Basti Warscroll looks nice. 9 solar shots and 18 ark melee attacks is nice. No more random shots/weird effects for him.

I read it as that. Flat 9 shots is so much nicer now

I think we are gonna shake similiar to S2D, where most of the internet freaked out about them being bad, but them slowly the people started to realized they just didn't very many stand out units. And everything was just internally balanced. What is best will probably change. That is part of how GW sales models. I think we will be more viable though, if a little less flavorful and creative.

for single models? not much a few abilities can hurt them now

Against FEC and Legion of Grief, possibly huge. Otherwise use all the CP spam from the Saurus stuff to just Inspiring Presence them form turn 2-4.

Also. Arcane Bolts will now force battleshock. So that is annoying....

Also, the troglodon seems brilliant as far as I can tell with my limited spanish:
- It heals
- It causes mortal wounds with its spit
- It has a terror effect
- It has its new shiny spell
- It has its casting bonus
- It's statline is at least decent.

Definitly going to see more use of him now

EoTG does mortal wounds on the charge and I think has a build in corana shield artifact?

Stegadon has the mortal wound charge too and also the corna shield?

Kroxigor bite mechanic seems to be fixed to jsut do 3 damage instead of weird minigames.

Bastiladon has way more attacks for both his weapons which is nice. Also it has a freaking 1+ save baseline which is hilarious.

Overall I like the changes. Seems fun.

18 attacks at 4+ 3+ is 6 attacks at -1 rend 2 dmg.... So now it is 6 before save,.. it used to be 2.33 before saves. HUGE BOON
