What are you doing today hobbywise?

My vote is for Hive Tyrant - Hive Tyrants are pretty much a necessity in a Tyranid army unless you're playing a really small-scale game (in which case a Prime would suffice). Trust me, I've been collecting Tyranids since Christmas 2010 and know that a Hive Tyrant is certainly one of the most resilient synapse creature choices as well as being a killer in melee ;)

Yeah, Hive Tyrant is the starting HQ for any Om Nom Nom list.

Will have to put the Tyrant on the list then, already got one but need a flying one for the collection. Hopefully it will still be there after Christmas as it seems the store doesn't restock much, maybe they thought it didn't work out selling Warhammer.

Binge-building a bunch of models during a duty watch. As of this post, I've completed an ogor mawpot, built both a warp lightning cannon and a doom-flayer to the point where I merely have to start painting before I compete assembly, and am in the process of building a doomwheel.

The warp lightning cannon in particular has been of some amusement for me in its current state, specifically regarding the crew. Seeing as I haven't glued on the wheels just yet, I've decided to play around with the idea that two of the wheels fell off, and the crew's spotter is scolding a crew member about repair work, leaving the remaining crew member to jack up the frame high enough to remount the wheels on his own.

This is an excellent idea! If you do this, pics please?

I'm waiting for donor parts to arrive.

I've just built a couple of Tau Firesight Marksmen.

God, i hate failcast...

I've just completed my entry for the painting competition currently running on Carpe Noctem: "Turning the World to Darkness: A Christmas Carol"

"The Wolves' Pack Is Coming to Town"

You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why

The Wolves' Pack is comin' to town

It sniffs you when you're sleeping
He hears you when you're awake
No matter if you've been bad or good
It will find you anyway

The Wolves' Pack is comin' to town

My ginormous Stegasaurus arrived today! Huzzah! He's not as big as I was thinking, but is still pretty big! About double the length and height of a Stegadon with Howdah, and that's before adding the big plate thingies on his back!

I’m guessing that’s the Tamiya Stegosaurus as part of their dinosaur range? I was considering getting their T-Rex and Triceratops kits at one point to convert into a Carnosaur and Stegadon before I was lucky enough to receive one each of the GW kits one Christmas.

Yep. 1/35 Stegasaurus kit from Tamiya. Still working on trying to find time to build it, mind you.

What are you going to use it as in your Lizardman army?

What am I going to use it as? What am I going to USE it as?!?

Heck if I know.

I just want to build an awesome centerpiece for my army. Might make up rules for a special scenario game, but honestly I just want something that looks cool. :D

Just looking over the Kroxigors I recieved for Christmas. Must be lucky because, despite all the stories of bad moulding, these are crisp and detailed.

Can't wait to build/paint them, but they will have to join the que behind my Saurus Guard.

Dropped into the local GW in Ottawa to pick up Tech-Priest Grombrindal before heading back out to the family cottage. Won't be able to build him until I get back to the West Coast, not least of all with skiing on the agenda, but at the very least I've been able to interest some of my childhood friends in Blood Bowl (said friends were the reason I got into Warhammer back in 2002.)

Finally started putting together my chameleon skinks from lost kingdom miniatures. These are some beautiful models if a pain to put together.
