@Crowsfoot could you show to us photos of all units of the box after the proccess?
We will have 10 complete warriors and knights?
And of course thanks a lot for your effort
Where could you get the base for the Astrolith Bearer?
That trooglodon is simply breathtaking! Cant wait to do mine, how did you do that amazing water base?Troglodon part 1
Take the head and tail and assemble together, when dry take the head and cut it square at the bottom.

Now stick this to the 120 oval base, take the large fin section and use it to place where the tail would go, leave a small gap and glue the tail to the base, now glue the fin in place, you may need to trim it to sit flat and you can cut a bit of sprue to support the head and fin, like below.

Leave it to dry over night before starting to sculpt the body.
Once dry take some modelling putty/clay and fill under the fin to make a body shape, don’t go past the scales in thickness and it does not need to be precise, leave to fully dry,pic below.

eBay or I can make you one.Where could you get the base for the Astrolith Bearer?
We all know the SC box is good value but can we make it better value, I think so and hopefully here I will show you how.
Everything used will come from the SC box, minimal conversion skills needed only extra things you will need are
1 120mm oval base
1 40mm round base
This tutorial is based around building the Carnasour with the scar vet rider and the Troglodon Oracle not being used on the Troglodon.
So in the box you get the following usable units,
10 Warriors (2 spare)
5 Knights (3 spare)
1 Carnosaur or Troglodon
After this tutorial you will have the following,
10 Warriors
5 Knights
1 Carnosaur with Scarvet rider
1 Troglodon
1 Astrolith Bearer
1 Oldblood on foot
1 Sunblood
1 Scarvet on Coldone (you could make 3)
I can see your face your all thinking how is that possible, well dive in and find out.![]()

I'm very Happy that I find this post. Thanks a lot for the great advices.
For the astrolith bearer I'll try a Aztec Coin from a 3D printer. (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2447167).
Asked a friend to print it.
I'll post a picture when I build him.

Wow. Thanks for the links.Hey there is actually an astrolith bearer banner thing specifically designed on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3389099
If you have access to a 3D printer, there are loads of files that can aid in the maximization for the start collecting box. Here's a thread being maintained here for ideas:http://www.lustria-online.com/threads/articles-to-print-in-3d-lizardmen-seraphon.22394/
Do you need to use modelling dedicated putty under the green stuff or could a cheap ass like me get away with bluetac or something and then greenstuff on the outside.Troglodon part 1

I used some rigid wire mesh from the DIY store rather than putty for the underlying structure and it worked charms - you can shape it quite well and then superglue it to the base and dino bits before applying the green stuff over it.
