GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

Shame he doesn't get any rules though.
 
yeah except that adeptus mechanicus players will already have a million techpriests anyway since it's their only hero and comes in virtually any box. It's kind of a shame.

On a sidenote, anyone here who's into the Lord of the rings game and bought the new Rohan terrain? I want to know its size so I can see if it might be worth it to use it with aos stuff or if it'd look really stupid.

I have a few locals who saw it and are Keen on converting it for use in AoS, as well as one other who's eyeing it for Conquest:LAoK.

It looks good. And with a little work, could be flavorful for lots of armies.

how does it measure up if you stick a SCE or something on top of it? Does it actually fit? Does it tower over it? The actual symbols I mind a lot less, it's just some horseheads.

I couldn't tell you as no one has gotten ahold of it as of yet. But Stormcast are going to look big of course.... Most of the talk has all been..
"Wow, that's cool! It'll be great to use for AoS!"
Or
"Can't wait to smash it up and convert it!"

Okay, so there is some news which could be really good for us or really bad! GW have just released their new winter update for AoS here and we are not on it! As far as I can tell, that could mean one two things. Either we have a major update coming soon that makes including us in the update pointless (this thankfully does seem a little more likely as the Kharadron Overlords have also been left out and it seems unlikely GW would ditch them), or we are being phased out and GW are trying to remove all evidence we existed. I’m desperately hoping it’s the former, but I guess we’ll see!

I've seen some people who've started building it on a lotr facebook group, but noone who's explained the dimensions yet (or put it next to any lotr models so I can compare it myself)

Tzeentch also hasn't had any updates and is one of the three remaining factions without a 2nd edition tome alongside KO and us. So yeah I'd assume some update for the three of us are coming.

Why am I imagining a Seraphon vs Tzeentch box set? Might just be the mad schemes and great plans coming together...

given our lore it would make sense to set us against daemons.

Khorne and Slaanesh got "Wrath and rapture", so they're out.
Nurgle gor Blightwar, 2017. Is there something more recent?
I don't recall a battle box for Tzeentch, so it could be a good call.
 
Both Ko and Tzeentch books are no longer available, so they will likely get a release together, which means maybe a box set. New characters or units possibly.....

Then a FEC/Skaven release.

Availability of stuff on the side changes every so often, it's not a particularly good indication of anything. Our battletome has been unavailable for several periods of time the past few months as well.

Also why would we get another FEC/skaven release?

I meant style, as in a box, then one faction gets their release, with stuff, then the other.

I saw someone say on Facebook that they heard a rumour that it's going to be a KO vs Tzeentch box. Would be nice for it to be Seraphon vs Tzeentch, mostly fits lore-wise and plus getting unique characters.
 
Both ways fit pretty well lorewise honestly. Tzeentch's machinations are centered around the Realm of Chamon, and the KO frequent that realm quite a bit searching to their gaseous metal.
The only one that wouldn't make sense is KO vs Seraphon.

I should be reading more then, I did a quick look and noticed Tzeentch to appear in some of the art
Maybe I'm just clawing at every bit, the long wait for some new Seraphon :joyful:
