I've been meaning to ask. So I hear there is a plan among many to unsubscribe from Disney Plus after Mandalorian season one finishes. What do you think, Nightbringer and people who read this thread?

That's probably what I'm going to do. There really isn't much on Disney Plus besides Mandalorian that is good. I have the DVDs for my favorite Pixar movies already and I have the DVDs for season 1 and 2 of Gargoyles. I have episode 1-6 of Star Wars on DVD.

Sure it's nice to watch Ducktales and Darkwing Duck again, but my enjoyment of these shows is fueled by nostalgia, not timeless quality.

Media doesn't have to be great to be watchable, but there just enough of it.

I might subscribe for the Obi-Wan series.

...and because I have kids. Might be worth it for all the Disney stuff. Right now if they watch TV they watch either Paw Patrol (via Prime) or normal TV (which I am not a big fan of either).
With Disney stuff available it might be an option to watch that instead always the same two or three shows.

...that all is of course provided that Disney+ one day becomes available in Germany. And for an acceptable price.

I've read that as well. I think some will unsubscribe and some will stick around. It is hard to tell what the proportion of those two groups will be. Either way, Disney will have more leftover subscribers than if they had never created the Mandalorian at all. Also, as @Aginor mentioned, Obi-Wan is looming. If the series is good, then people will come back. It's a competitive market, and as such, Disney will have to continually put out fresh new quality content to maintain a high number of subscribers.
