That's what I have been hearing as well.

I cruel twist of fate, my Rise of Soywalker boycott has been ruined by Mrs. NIGHTBRINGER acquiring free tickets for the premiere day showing. I do like free things. The universe is conspiring against me, but I suppose the earlier I watch it, the earlier I can complain about it (if it is bad).

Agreed. You refusing a free ticket won't send any kind of message.

How did she get the free ticket? Twas a rumor that Disney was giving out free tickets like candy to push up the first week box office returns...

That's how I felt too.

From work.

That's the rumor I heard with Captain Marvel. I even talked to someone personally who went to a "nearly sold out" show that was pretty much empty.

The key piece of damning evidence is that tons of theaters sold their most unpopular seats (the back corners) first.

I don't know about the rest of you. I don't buy tickets in advanced very often but when I do, I want a center seat!

I know lots of people are worried about Star Wars future but...
Why bother making a fourth Kelvin Universe Star Trek film. I think Jar Jar Abrams is trying to destroy the very concept of sci-fi.

Kill the Kelvin Universe with fire. Create a temporal event to erase it from existance. Either go back to the universe with the Original Series, TNG, DS9, and Voyager OR do a hard reboot in a new universe and poach the creative team from the Orville.

I'd honestly want to see a sequel to DS9 but I'll take anything that doesn't have Jar Jar's fingerprints on it.

I enjoyed the first Kelvin timeline movie, next two were a bit boring. Can't really replace Montalbon in my opinion... and I haven't seen the new TV series yet. Eventually I may watch it.

Warden finally bringing a dash of Star Trek.

The Star Wars saturation in this thread is high, someone's gotta do it! :vulcan:

I don't care much where I sit.
I am not a fan of going to the cinema anyway. I mainly go there to watch movies that I am interested in (a.k.a. Star Wars movies, I haven't watched anything else in years) to avoid being spoiled.
For me cinemas are too loud, smelly and expensive, I prefer watching movies at home.
