I like the way the larger scales have a depth to them. It gives them a semi - transparent look, just like real scales. Very nice.

Yeah, often times metallics look good, but I think in this case, your freehand skin is 1 op notch, but the metallics aren't. I dunno if you are into NMM and capable of it, but I guess it would look more harmonic. On the other hand, TMM can look fantastic, with the right techniques and paints. Take this for example http://massivevoodoo.blogspot.com/2010/02/tutorial-painting-true-metallic-metal.html?m=1
This is by far not the best TMM i've ever seen, but Imho, the potential exceeds your actual state. Don't take this as nagging, I just think you have great potential as a painter, so the Trog does too. Keep on the good work!
Outstanding! That is exactly what I meant, well done! Keep on the good work, because what we do I here without such beautiful models, meticulously painted to pervection!?Here is the finished Saurus Scar Veteran.
What an awesome project, thoroughly enjoyed this guy, was welp worth the wait.
C&C is always welcome
Thanks
What an amazing model. May I ask how did you achieve this outrageously beautiful leather color on the right side of Trog ??
