AoS Skink Unit Sizes

Hey all,

Pretty simple question I guess, I noticed many lists before GHB 2019 had skinks at blocks of 40, but now all seem to be in minimum unit sizes.

What happened besides the unit cost increase? Why does it seem like every list going forward just run them in small blocks?

well skinks are skirmish fighters there best quality is that they can retreat instead of fighting this lets them do that easier also as screens you can waist enimy damage by using small units if a attack would do 18 wounds but you only have 10 guys thats 8 wounds that don't do anything

Skink are mostly used for holding objectives. Because of Wary Fighter's requirement to end the movement more than 3" from enemy it is easier to use in smaller units.

Don't worry if you bought or painted up a bunch of Skinks. They are still our primary summon. Specially from the Engine of the Gods.

yup i usually have at least 80 on the table at any given time and I've had as many as 200
