What are you doing today hobbywise?

Painting a Lord of Change at the moment, all the feathers going to be gold with a silver dry brush.
Also put in a subscription for the Warhammer Conquest AoS, all those subscription goodies.

and loves Tomb Kings.

What am I doing today...
I went to my LHS, sat down to work on minis, spent a lot of time talking with other gamers about the lack of a new Seraphon book, how funny Skaven are (especially when they kill themselves), how entertaining 40K Orks are, and "why do they keep making more Stormcast stuff we don't need?"

Played a game with my Grot Tank army. 2000 points vs Blood Angels. Death Company kicked the crap out of me, but had fun, so don't care.

I painted some Horns, claws, and teeth of Arkhan's Dread Abyssal.

Assembled primed and started painting Skragrott and 40 Stabbas.
Used Wraithbone as primer, some contrast paint on Skragrott and a bit more on the Stabbas. I must say I really like the range, very fast base coverage, with bright colours. Still requires skill and time to yield some quality effect.
I LOVE the Wraithbone primer, It's extremely smooth and the warm tint is lovely.

Spilled my manky water pot over two models I'm painting and the freshly applied Stegadon base.

Am using my tears to mop up........

I finished painting up the rat ogre for my skaven Blood Bowl team, the Grey Coast Scuttlers. Now onto my last two additions to the team leading up to my league's season play-offs: a 4th gutter runner, and a 7th linesman.

Assembled, primed, painted and based to somoewhat-above-tabletop standard 40 stabbas in just 3 days worth of hobby. Contrast paint gave me a 4x or 5x boost in painting time.
Almost finished Skragrott too (higher paint standard of course)

Finished by Orc Big-Uns yesterday, and have been contemplating how to make some extra Necron Lords and Crypteks for my Royal Court out of a collection of spare bits my Uncle kindly gave me when we had a game of 40K on Sunday (tried out two units of Destroyers in my Necron list - killed a good few Space Marines but proved to be a points sink)

Lord of Change nearly finished, just needs a few more touch-ups and the base needs finishing.
Thinking on what else to add to the board, so far it's the Lord of Change, Cockatrice, Screamers and few random familiars, needs one more set of miniatures, not wanting to focus on anything too detailed due to wanting to stay on time so the Tzaangors are out of the question.

Its time to finish the Skink blowpipe battle line (consisting of all 3 Skinks) finally today!

Finished painting a 20-man unit of stabbas in 2 days worth of hobby to a very good level for tabletop with Contrast paints. A couple of days for layers and highlights and they will join theri 40 brothers.
BTW, it took me only a week to paint the 40 gobbos to a good 'parade level' paint, which is crazy considering it took me almost a month for 40 skinks last year if I remembre correctly.

Assembled 9 Fellwater Troggoths this morning. The scuplts look as if they where designet today, even if they are 10-years old, but the assembly is a bit painful.
