AoS Tzeentch artifacts

There's some tzeentch artifacts and general traits that say "for any of your general's melee weapons" or "of all melee weapons wielded by this daemon". This is weird, as most artifacts tend to specify you pick 1 weapon. Also, especially in the case of tzeentch, it's quite rare for their heroes to have more than 2 or 3 melee, attacks themselves. The only ones that have a halfway decent volume of attacks to make use of attacks like these are mounted. Now since it's phrased so differently, and since tzeentch heroes on the whole lack melee attacks, do they or do they not include the mount attacks? Cuz depending on that these artifacts and traits are either surprisingly powerfull, or completly and utterly useless. Anyone know? The combination of weird phrasing, them being utterly useless without the mount attacks makes it feel rather weird.

As per the the core rules no artefact affects any mount's attacks unless it specifically is noted as doing so.

Well they are the only artifacts/traits that I've seen that specificly say "all attacks" or "all melee weapons" as opposed to "pick one" which I do feel points towards being an exception.

Also, they're utterly useless if you can't use them on mounts. There's 5 or 6 traits + artifacts split between daemons and mortals that have an effect like this, but for example there's only 1! deamon who even has multiple weapons if you ignore mounts in disciples of tzeentch. Similarly, there's only 2 mortal heroes. So what's the point? If you include slaves of darkness it's a bit better, but it seems weird to include that many artifacts that rely on heroes from what is technicly a different faction.

Did their battletome come out before or after the specification that artifacts only affect the wielder? Maybe that's the issue.

Also, does the same rule hold for general traits? I'm not sure anymore.

well this wouldn't be the first time GW made bad artifacts just look at Beast claw or half of ours.

Well yeah, but at least our artifacts all have some situation in which they're potentially usefull. Whereas these don't even have that. I mean who cares if your herald, blue scribes or changeling has +1 rend on their 1 or 2 attacks.

Tzeentch seems to have some of the same flaws as us with a massivly outdated tome & several abilities/artifacts/etc. that are clearly designed with a completly different design philosophy in mind (again, these artifacts would be moderatly decent if they affected mounts, those screamers that draw a herald's chariot on would actually benefit from the rend..)
