Another razordon conversion!

Hello fellow lustrians!
They still need paint, but I wanted to share my take on razordons. I'm looking for ways to equip my army with ancient arcane tools/weapons, so the inspiration for these guys came from the old arcanodon conversion way back in 8th, and the more modern bastilidon.





The bits on this should be obvious, the stock cold ones, all with the champion heads. Used the base of the bastilidon's solar engine for the main body, and 3d printed the rings.
The rings came out a little rough, so I may swap them out at some point, but for now, I'm mostly happy with how these, "lazordons" came out

Awesome idea. It's funny because if the rings were rock they would look great because it would fit the natural ruggedness. Overall a great idea.

Probably looked down upon here, but the basti bases I ended up recasting in resin.

A more mundane conversion I have been pondering is to take some old, slow, dimwit looking cold ones. Kit them out with tiny Howdahs/platforms. Then add two or three Archer Skinks from fifth edition to the platforms.

Mind linking the specific ones you used?

Any thoughts on how you might differentiate them from salamanders of a similar build?

Longer crystal? Different gyro maybe?
