9th Age Testing out fantasy- Which edition?

You can play Age Sigmar with rectangular bases, but you cannot play Kings of War or Warhammer Fantasy with round bases. Ergo, rectangular bases is best.

I will play any version of fantasy with almost anyone. I prefer 8th edition but I'm not very picky.
